Ninpou Shortcut!

Well its very impressive. At exactly 1:15am everyday the garbage truck arrives outside our window. Everything runs on time here, puts our Country to shame.

Started off by heading to the Tokyo District of Tokyo, just to get our rail passes for the next 21 days and book our seat on the train for the next day.

one stop over was Ginza with the Sony Tower. How could we say no to that?!?

The stairs leading up were musical, like a big keyboard as we ran up and down, well who said we had grown up yet. A quick look at the new phones, walkmans and cameras, we came to the PS3 area, no 4 here. We were sat down each with a controller and pair of glasses. We were playing GT5 with what looked like 1 player mode. After the first corner I said I was playing, and Chris said he was. It was then we realised the need of the glasses. Each player was using a different polarisation so both saw there screen taking up the whole screen. Geeky but cool.

Next was the 85″ 4k T.V. that I would love, even if it was 1,500,000 yen.

We headed to Tokyo Dome, where a baseball game was being held today. The queues for tickets alone were massive, and neither of us really being a fan we passed. Acroos the way was the theme park. Unfortuantely the Roller Coaster is still closed, and the rest of the rides were really for kids.

After booking a table at a highly sort after restaurant for both us and our new friend Ross from St Andrews we headed out for the night. Table wasn’t book until 9pm so we decided to grab a drink first and after the fiasco the day before we decided on the safe option of Hooters Tokyo. The waitress, Tsudaname, even knew of Essex, thanks ‘Amy Childs’ for that.

Once the time arrived we headed for our restaurant, just called Ninja. The door way was slightly hidden. A ninja was called to show us to our seats, we were shown through secret passageways that were small. It even involved a drawbridge being called. The seating were set out each in there own little houses that looked like traditional housing. Shown to ours we sat down cross legged were my legs dropped into the convenient hole under the table. The food and drinks was expensive but blooming tasty. The menu was a scroll. Sake all round for drinks. Chris and Ross had the Lamb, while I went for the Pork in Squid Ink Tempura. After our meal we were treated to a card magic show which was funny as we were talking about this before we headed here.
